Jessica Ehle

Science Teacher

I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from Saginaw Valley State University. I had plans for P.A. school at Central Michigan University, but my plans were not the same as the Lord’s plans for my life. In 2016 my science & health education became a valuable resource when my son was diagnosed with an auto inflammatory disease at 2 years old. He is now 6 and in unmedicated remission, praise Jesus!
My husband, Tom and I live in Gladwin on a sweet little 10 acre hobby farm, with our four sons. I’ve been at home full time with my sons since 2016 and it has been such a blessing to nurture them through these precious years.  I have a real passion for science and health. I love gardening, camping and hiking.  I believe spending time outdoors is a wonderful form of worship to God’s amazing creation. I am thrilled to be a part of the ministry at Skeels Christian school. I can’t wait to bring my love for God & science to my students and engage in lots of creative hands on activities.

Rebecca Kozlow

Kindergarten Teacher

rkozlow@skeelschristianschool.com

My name is Rebecca Kozlow, my connection with Skeels Christian School began as a preschooler. After graduating from Skeels in 1999, I attended college where I earned a degree in early childhood education.

After obtaining my degree, I returned to Skeels Christian School to begin a year teaching career in the preschool/kindergarten class in 2001.  I love teaching children, watching them learn, grow, and play. It has been an amazing journey to work with children as they begin laying the foundation for their future.  Each year, I look forward to working with my students, getting to know each of them and their families.
I live in Harrison with my husband Jeremy and our two children, Aaron and Charley. We enjoy camping, playing games, and laughing together. Our children are passionate about competing in volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, and football. Jeremy and I enjoy watching every moment of their games!

Morgan Kellogg

Preschool Teacher

Passion, excitement, and a desire to teach young children are three powerful words that describe what Morgan Kellogg is bringing to the preschool program at Skeels Christian School.  Having a six-year background of working with children at various ages, including many at the preschool level, she comes to SCS ready to be part of the Skeels teaching team. She is excited to get to know the preschool students and to work with their families.

Mrs. Kellogg feels blessed to be teaching in the same classroom as her grandmother, Mrs. Erica Brown, had taught in many years ago.  Knowing that God had this in HIS plan for a long time is an exciting affirmation that this is where she belongs!  A verse that reflects her feelings about teaching at Skeels Christian School is Luke 2:40, “And the Child grew and became strong in sprit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.”

Mrs. Kellogg is completing a degree in Early Childhood Education through Mid Michigan College.  She and her husband Mike are parents to a two-year-old son and a second-grade daughter.  They enjoy camping and spending time outside together.

Carol Darlington

Enrichment Coordinator

Junior High Keyboard Teacher & Librarian

cdarington@skeelschristianschool.com

A graduate of Central Michigan University with a BS in Education and an MA in Educational Administration, Carol Darlington spent over 32 years in higher education at Mid Michigan College. Her job responsibilities changed over the years, but the one factor that remained the same was being a psychology instructor – Mrs. Darlington’s true passion.

She considers it a blessing to be able to now be part of the Skeels Christian School team. Offering enrichment activities like career exploration, library, physical education and keyboarding is an important part of a well-rounded academic experience.

Mrs. Darlington, her husband John, their two adult sons and families are members of Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church where they have faithfully worshiped and served for many years.  God’s promises in Jeremiah 29: 11 – 12 have provided reassurance to her for many years, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
