History 3rd through 12th Grades
I am a graduate of SVSU with a certification in secondary education and a BA in History and Political Science. I live in Harrison with my wife Beccy. I have two sons, Jeremiah and Aaron. Both boys are out of school and busy in their own careers.
My mission is to help and encourage each individual student to reach his/her God given potential by helping to advance their areas of weakness and expand their strengths. I believe that each student is an individual, created by God for a specific purpose, and each has been equipped with the potential to achieve that purpose.
Hello, my name is Katina Price. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan University. My husband, Tony and I were set up by our late Pastor’s wife as counselors at our church’s camp in 2005. We were married in 2006. We were blessed in 2007 with a lovable and sweet daughter, Makenzie. God blessed us again in 2011 with a fun-loving and active boy, Benjamin. As parents we know that it is our responsibility to train them up in the ways of the Lord so they both attend Skeels.
I love the Lord with all my heart and love sharing His amazingness with students. I believe that every child is a blessing from the Lord and made unique. I aim to teach students that everything that we do is done for His honor and glory. I look forward to seeing what blessings He has in store for my class and the school!
Third & Fourth Grade
Brei Siegert is our Elementary Math and Language teacher. She has been teaching at Skeels for 8 years. Mrs. Siegert is a graduate of Western Michigan University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Siegert is married to her awesome husband, Chris. She is the mother of two of our students, Triniti and Treyton. Mrs. Siegert loves to spend time with her family playing volleyball, boating, and watching the Red Wings. She especially loves to “quietly” watch her children play their favorite sports.
Music & Preschool Teacher
My name is Rebecca Kozlow, my connection with Skeels Christian School began as a preschooler. After graduating from Skeels in 1999, I attended college where I earned a degree in early childhood education.
Junior High Keyboard Teacher & Librarian
A graduate of Central Michigan University with a BS in Education and an MA in Educational Administration, Carol Darlington spent over 32 years in higher education at Mid Michigan College. Her job responsibilities changed over the years, but the one factor that remained the same was being a psychology instructor – Mrs. Darlington’s true passion.
She considers it a blessing to be able to now be part of the Skeels Christian School team. Offering enrichment activities like career exploration, library, physical education and keyboarding is an important part of a well-rounded academic experience.
Mrs. Darlington, her husband John, their two adult sons and families are members of Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church where they have faithfully worshiped and served for many years. God’s promises in Jeremiah 29: 11 – 12 have provided reassurance to her for many years, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
